Series of road accidents and injuries reported in Norway and Denmark
Police in Nærbø, Norway, responded to a domestic incident in which a woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a man with a known relationship to her was arrested.
On Norway’s E134 highway near Notodden, two cars collided head‑on without injuries, while a separate single‑vehicle crash near Hella left only the driver, a woman, with minor injuries. In the Troms region, emergency services attended a lone off‑road incident with no signs of alcohol involvement.
In Denmark, a 35‑year‑old driver was arrested on the E45 after driving in the wrong direction and is suspected of alcohol and drug use. Near Holstebro, a violent traffic collision killed a man and a woman and seriously injured a 19‑year‑old male. Additional incidents included a cyclist thrown from a bike in Bramming and a motorcyclist injured after a collision in Bjerringbro. All accidents prompted police and emergency‑service deployments, with most victims sustaining non‑critical injuries and several arrests made.
