Cyclist escapes injury as truck rolls over on BR-163 in Paraná

A cyclist narrowly escaped injury on Saturday morning after a Toyota Hilux lost control and rolled over on the BR-163 highway in Marechal Cândido Rondon, Paraná. Security footage captured the moment the vehicle aquaplaned on a wet surface, crossed the lanes, and headed toward the marginal road where the cyclist was traveling.

The cyclist managed to jump from the bicycle seconds before the impact. While the vehicle struck the bicycle during the rollover, the man was uninjured and declined medical assistance.

Four occupants from the same family, traveling from Cascavel toward Paraguay, were inside the truck. All four sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Marechal Cândido Rondon Urgent Care Unit (UPA) for evaluation. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) attended the scene to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
