Cyclist rescued after serious fall in Asten, Austria

An 84-year-old cyclist from Linz was rescued after a serious fall in the Raffelstetten district of Asten, Austria. The individual fell near the Mitterwasser stream and became trapped under large trees, making it difficult to stand or move.

Emergency responders, including police, search dogs, and a police helicopter, were deployed to locate the man. Rescuers used mobile phone tracking and acoustic signals to find him in a thicket near the stream bed. He was transported to the Med Campus III at the Kepler University Hospital in Linz for further medical examination.
