Cyclist rescued by helicopter in Cabrerizos, Salamanca

A 35-year-old cyclist was rescued by helicopter in Cabrerizos, Salamanca, after a fall in a difficult-to-access area approximately 500 meters from the SA-804 road. The victim suffered a broken collarbone and was unable to move.

The Castilla y León 1-1-2 Emergency Service coordinated the operation, deploying a rescue helicopter with two rescuers, including a nurse. The victim was stabilized, placed on a stretcher, and hoisted via a double crane maneuver into the aircraft. Following the aerial evacuation to the Huerta Otea helisurface, the individual was transferred to the Complejo Asistencial Universitario de Salamanca for medical treatment.
