Cyclists to ride 700km from Ibi to Pamplona for pediatric cancer research

Seven cyclists will undertake a 700-kilometer charity ride between Ibi and Pamplona on October 9 and 10 to raise funds for pediatric brain tumor research. Organized by the Fundación Pedaleando con Ainhoa, the challenge involves covering a significant elevation gain of over 6,800 meters within 48 hours.

The route is designed to connect key medical and research institutions, starting in Alicante, passing through the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe in Valencia, and concluding at the Centro de Investigación Médica Aplicada (CIMA) at the Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona.

The event coincides with the fifth anniversary of the passing of Ainhoa, the child for whom the foundation is named. Participants aim to mobilize individuals and corporations to support medical research for pediatric cancers that currently have limited therapeutic options.
