Cygames announces new characters for Uma Musume Pretty Derby

Cygames has announced two new characters, Pharenoopsis and Efforia, for the training simulation game ‘Uma Musume Pretty Derby’. The announcement was made during the ‘Paka Live TV #6 5.5 Anniversary Special’ broadcast on August 22.

Pharenoopsis is characterized as a noble yet bold figure, inspired by a racehorse that won the Oka Sho and Shuka Sho between 1997 and 2000. Efforia is described as a serious and mission-driven character from a prestigious racing family, based on the horse that won the Satsuki Sho and Arima Kinen between 2020 and 2023. Visuals of their racing outfits have also been released.
