Cygnus Metals reports drilling results at Chibougamau project
Cygnus Metals Limited has announced positive exploration drilling results from its Chibougamau Copper-Gold Project in Quebec, Canada. The results focus on two primary areas: Copper Rand and Gwillim.
At Copper Rand, a drilling program consisting of five holes totaling 3,830 meters targeted extensions of a historic mine. Notable intersections included 20.3 meters at 4.2g/t AuEq and 5.1 meters at 5.3g/t AuEq. The Copper Rand site is located within the Chibougamau North Camp, near the Cedar Bay and Golden Eye deposits.
At the Gwillim site, which is a 50:50 joint venture with Alamos Gold, all nine holes drilled intersected gold mineralization. High-grade results included an intersection of 0.4 meters at 108.0g/t Au. Following these results, the company is conducting a short program at Gwillim before returning to Copper Rand.
