Cylake raises $245 million for AI-native cybersecurity platform
Cybersecurity startup Cylake has raised $245 million in a convertible note funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $290 million. The round included participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Picture Capital, and Redpoint Ventures.
The company is developing an AI-native, data-driven cybersecurity platform designed for highly regulated commercial and government organizations that require strict data sovereignty. Unlike many existing solutions, Cylake’s platform is built to operate entirely on-premises or within private cloud environments, allowing users to maintain full control over their data and infrastructure.
Cylake was co-founded by CEO Nir Zuk, the founder of Palo Alto Networks, alongside Wilson Xu and Ehud “Udi” Shamir. The company, which currently employs over 40 people, expects to release a beta version of its product by the end of 2026, with full general availability targeted for 2027.
