Cyprus and Greece implement AI training for educators

Educational institutions in Cyprus and Greece are implementing training programs focused on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching and administration.

In Cyprus, the Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth organized large-scale workshops for over 220 educational officials. These sessions, held between August 31 and September 11, 2026, aimed to establish a common understanding of AI in education. The training aligns with the national Roadmap for AI in Education and guidelines for the responsible and ethical use of AI in primary and secondary schooling, following European and international frameworks.

In Greece, teachers from the 4th Gymnasium of Chalkida and the Gymnasium of Vathes Avlida held a joint seminar to share results from Erasmus+ training mobilities conducted in Brussels. The educators focused on transferring European experiences to daily school practice, with a specific emphasis on the methodological and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in the classroom.
