Cyprus announces €68 million tender for new Legal Service building
The Cyprus Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has announced a tender for the study, construction, and 12-year maintenance of a new building for the Legal Service of the Republic. The project has an estimated cost of €68 million, excluding VAT.
The proposed eleven-story structure will have a minimum total area of 23,410 square meters, consisting of 16,010 square meters of superstructure and 7,400 square meters of basement space across two levels. The study and construction phase is expected to last 48 months, with works scheduled to begin in April 2027. The project is funded by national resources and is classified as a Class A construction project.
The tender was announced on September 10, with a submission deadline of January 22, 2027. The contract will be awarded through an open process based on the most economically advantageous price. The Department of Public Works has already conducted a preliminary design study to serve as the foundation for the contractor's subsequent work.
