Cyprus casinos generate €34 million tax revenue as gaming earnings rise 20% in 2025
A report from the Gaming & Casino Supervision Commission, submitted to the presidency’s office, shows that Cyprus‑run casinos collected €34 million in tax for the government in the most recent year, reflecting a steady rise over the past two years.
Gross gaming revenue from the three licensed casinos in Limassol, Ayia Napa and Paphos reached €227 million in 2025, a 20% increase from €189.2 million in 2024. The surge was driven primarily by the Limassol resort, according to the authority’s annual report.
