Cyprus League: Apollon Limassol and AEL Limassol prepare for Matchday 7

The Cyprus League by Stoiximan enters its seventh matchday with significant matchups involving Limassol-based clubs.

Apollon Limassol, currently in fourth place with 12 points from three wins and three draws, will face Karmiotissa at the ‘Stelios Kyriakidis’ stadium. Manager Hernán Losada faces squad challenges with Asunsao, Spoljaric, and Andreou unavailable, while Ljubicic and Weissbek remain uncertain due to minor issues. However, the return of top scorer and assist leader Gary Rodrigues to training provides a boost for the undefeated side.

In a Limassol derby, league leaders AEL Limassol host Aris Limassol at the ‘ALPHAMEGA’ stadium. AEL holds the top spot with 15 points but must navigate eight player absences under manager Hugo Martins. Aris Limassol sits in sixth place with nine points and seeks to capitalize on their recent improvements to close the gap on the leaders.
