Cyprus MEP warns of rising Israeli land and real estate acquisitions

European Parliament Member Fidias Panayiotou has raised concerns regarding the increasing scale of Israeli real estate and land acquisitions in the Republic of Cyprus. Panayiotou warned that wealthy Israelis, seeking stability following domestic unrest, are purchasing significant amounts of land, apartments, and entire villages, sometimes concentrating in specific areas.

Panayiotou expressed concern that this trend could lead to the creation of
