Cyprus to Host VR Pediatric Nursing Conference September 2026

The Department of Nursing at the Technological University of Cyprus, together with partners from the Erasmus+ Virtual Children’s Hospital for Learning Pediatric Nursing (VLPN) project and the Pediatric Nursing Initiative of the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association, will organize a conference titled “Virtual Learning, Shaping the Future of Paediatric Nursing Education.”

The event is scheduled for 23 September 2026 at the CYENS research centre in Nicosia and will be conducted in English. It will feature speakers from Cyprus, Finland, Estonia and Belgium who will discuss recent developments and practical applications of virtual reality (VR) in paediatric nursing education. Attendees can experience VR tools created under the VLPN and the Erasmus+ Extended Reality Learning Framework for Pediatric Nursing Students (PeDXR) project during a hands‑on workshop. Registration is free and participants will receive 5.25 ECTS credits from the Pan‑Cypriot Association of Nursing Students (PASYNM).
