Cyprus University of Technology donates athletic wheelchair to 365 Foundation

The Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) has donated a specialized athletic wheelchair to the non-profit organization 365 Foundation. The donation, valued at €4,500, was made possible through the collective contributions of the university community.

The initiative was a joint effort between the university’s Sports Office and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The wheelchair will be utilized by the 365 Dream Team, enabling individuals with motor disabilities to participate in walks, routes, and running experiences alongside runner-companions.

During the handover ceremony held on September 22, 2026, TEPAK Rector Panagiotis Zafeiris emphasized that the project reflects the university’s commitment to sensitivity regarding disability, support for sports, and the cultivation of collective social contribution.
