Cyprus weather forecast: Rain and storms expected

Low pressure is beginning to affect Cyprus, bringing a shift in weather patterns characterized by increased cloud cover, occasional light rain, and periods of thin dust in the atmosphere.

Forecasts indicate that while temperatures may initially reach around 29°C in inland and southern coastal areas, a gradual and significant drop is expected over the coming days. By Thursday, temperatures are predicted to fall below seasonal averages.

Weather conditions are expected to deteriorate starting Tuesday afternoon with isolated rain or thunderstorms. On Wednesday and Thursday, cloudy skies will persist with local rain and individual thunderstorms. Specifically, on Thursday, weather phenomena may become intense in certain areas.
