Cyprus weather forecast: rising temps and scattered showers

A weak high‑pressure system will dominate Cyprus, bringing mostly clear skies with occasional local cloud buildups. Scattered showers are expected today, especially in the western districts of Paphos and Limassol, while isolated rain will affect the eastern part of the island tomorrow.

Temperatures will rise noticeably, reaching about 28‑29 °C inland by Friday, returning to normal seasonal values. Mountain areas will retain snow, with the highest peaks holding just over 10 cm of snow cover. Winds will start as light southeast to southwest breezes (3‑4 Bft) and gradually shift to northwest directions.

Overall, the weather will improve after the brief rain periods, with clear skies and milder temperatures expected later in the week.
