Cytix and Skan AI secure significant venture capital funding
British cybersecurity startup Cytix has secured $7 million in Series A funding, led by Northern Gritstone with participation from existing investors Auriga Cyber Ventures and NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance. The company intends to use the capital to expand its change-risk management platform, which addresses security risks arising from rapid software changes driven by generative AI and agentic workflows. The platform targets enterprise and regulated industries, offering services directly or through partners like KPMG and NCC Group.
Separately, Skan AI has closed a $63 million Series C funding round, co-led by Cathay Innovation and Dell Technologies Capital. This brings the company’s total funding to approximately $120 million. Skan AI plans to use the funds to launch its Skan AI Blueprint and Skan AI Agents products, focusing on business process analysis and automation. While enterprise interest in AI agents is growing, industry reports indicate significant implementation challenges, with Gartner noting that only 8% of companies currently have AI agents in productive use.
