Czaplinek Authorities Issue Waste Guidelines for Pol’and’Rock Festival and Host Dni Czaplinka 2026

The municipal office in Czaplinek reminded entrepreneurs operating at the upcoming Pol’and’Rock Festival to secure individual contracts for municipal waste collection with an authorized provider. They must provide adequate containers for paper, glass, metal, plastic, bio‑waste and mixed waste, keep documentation of the agreements and fee payments on site, and are prohibited from disposing waste in public bins or private containers. Failure to comply may result in fines of up to 5,000 zł, with inspections planned throughout the event.

From 17–19 July 2026, Czaplinek held the three‑day Dni Czaplinka celebration, featuring music, sport, family activities and a parade of the "Czapl" family. The opening parade began on the local water sports centre, proceeded through the town to the amphitheatre, and was attended by the mayor Katarzyna Szlońska‑Getka, deputy mayor Krzysztof Lisiecki and local emergency services. The festivities included performances by local groups, a guest‑book for visitors, and safety oversight by the city police, volunteer fire brigade and municipal guards.
