Czarni Antrans Sosnowiec advances to Women's Champions League final qualifying round

Czarni Antrans Sosnowiec, the champions of Poland, have advanced to the third and final qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League. The team secured their progression after defeating Spartak Myjava 4-2 in the semi-finals.

In a high-scoring match, Patrycja Sarapata scored twice (10th and 89th minutes), Karlina Miksone added a goal from a penalty (27th minute), and Weronika Wójcik scored in the 39th minute. Spartak Myjava's goals were provided by Andrea Bogorova and Nadja Stanović.

In the other semi-final, Apollon Limassol defeated Vllaznia Shkodra on penalties following a 3-3 draw, securing third place in the tournament. Spartak Myjava's victory over Vllaznia in the third-place playoff ended 2-1.

The draw for the final qualifying round, which consists of two-legged ties, is scheduled for August 11. The final phase will feature 18 teams, with the championship match set to take place at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw in late May.
