Czech actresses discuss lifestyle changes and rural living

Czech actress Vanda Hybnerová has transformed her countryside home in the Vysočina region into a ranch. After living there permanently with her family for several years, she now commutes from Prague several times a week. The ranch, which began with a few sheep, has grown to include 45 sheep and various horses. Hybnerová notes that the animals, all of whom are named, provide her with a sense of peace and therapeutic value.

Actress Jana Stryková has also relocated her family to the Krkonoše mountains. While she continues to perform in three different theaters, she noted that the long commutes are impractical. Stryková recently underwent a physical change, including a haircut, to prepare for a new role in a television series.
