Czech architectural projects focus on residential space optimization

Recent architectural projects in the Czech Republic highlight innovative residential solutions for space and light. In the Příbram region, Facha architekti designed a 26 m² extension for a rural home that originally served as a small barn. The addition features a wooden structure protected by red corrugated metal and a pine plywood interior, providing a larger living area, a new entrance, and improved storage for a four-person family.

In a separate urban design, architect Markéta Bromová developed a 77 m² apartment focused on maximizing natural light and views of an inner courtyard. The layout utilizes glass folding doors to allow for flexible use of space between the kitchen, living area, and children's room. The interior design emphasizes natural materials, such as large-format oak parquet, and incorporates soft geometries to create a calm atmosphere.
