Czech athletes win medals in Patagonia and France

Czech athletes have achieved notable success in international sporting competitions. In Patagonia, Argentina, swimmer Andrea Klementová won eight gold and two silver medals at an ice swimming competition held in Canal de los Témpanos on Lago Argentino, near the Perito Moreno glacier. The competition featured a floating pool with lanes in water temperatures of approximately 2 degrees Celsius.

In Épinal, France, water slalom specialist Valentýna Kočířová secured two gold medals at the Junior European Championships, winning both the kayak and canoe categories. Other Czech medalists at the championships include Tomáš Indruch and Adam Král, who both earned bronze medals in their respective categories.
