Czech Bishop Tomáš Holub declares Latin Mass incompatible with Synodal Church, endorses Novus Ordo

Bishop Tomáš Holub, the head of the Diocese of Pilsen in the Czech Republic, said the Synodal Church requires a liturgy that can only be the Novus Ordo Missae, asserting that the Traditional Latin Mass no longer meets today’s needs.

He linked this stance to the reforms of the Second Vatican Council, describing synodality as a way of living by faith and arguing that the Novus Ordo uniquely integrates synodality, whereas the Latin Mass would make such integration very difficult. Holub also noted his willingness to give Holy Communion to divorced and remarried Catholics.
