Czech Castle Music Festivals Hrady CZ and Karel Announce Summer Line‑Ups

The 21st edition of the Hrady CZ music‑culture festival will open on 10–11 July at Točník near Prague and will travel to several historic castles, including Kunětická hora, Švihov, Hluboká nad Vltavou, Veveří, Hradec nad Moravicí, Bouzov and Bezděz. The programme features acts such as Vega Elektra, Grey256, Trautenberk, Rytmus, Xindl X, Tomáš Klus, Lenny, Brixtn, Harlej and Daniel Landa, with a carnival‑mask competition and free castle tours for ticket holders. VIP accommodation options range from standard camping to a “PLUS” camp with hotel‑level facilities.

The Karel festival has moved to the courtyard of Luže Castle and will take place on the weekend of 14–15 August 2026. For the first time the line‑up includes an international performer, guitarist and singer Rufus Miller, formerly of Sting’s backing band. The Czech acts include Reflections of Karma (featuring musicians from Gaia Mesiah and Krucipüsk), the legendary group Buty, as well as guests from Sto zvířat and rapper Kato with his Prago Union project. Additional attractions comprise historic talks, castle tours and concerts on an alternative B‑Stage.
