Czech comedy Birthday Wishes: The Christening tops Oneplay charts

The Czech comedy ‘Birthday Wishes: The Christening’ (Přání k narozeninám: Křtiny), directed by Marta Ferencová, has become the most-watched film on the Oneplay platform shortly after its release on October 12. According to FlixPatrol, the film reached the top of the weekly TOP 10 most-watched movies list within five days of its debut.

The film has also seen success on the Slovak streaming service Voyo. This follows a similar trend to its predecessor, which previously dominated both Oneplay and Netflix. The story centers on the chaotic preparations for a granddaughter's christening involving characters played by Eva Holubová and Jaroslav Dušek, alongside Anna Polívková.
