Czech cultural sites host open days for European Heritage Days

Cultural heritage sites across the Czech Republic are hosting special events as part of the European Heritage Days. In Kutná Hora, visitors gained access to various landmarks, including St. Barbara's Church, the Chapel of the Body of Christ, and the Sedlec Ossuary, often for symbolic or voluntary fees. The program included guided tours of the Czech Museum of Silver, exhibitions at the GASK gallery, and demonstrations at the Vlašský dvůr.

In Jindřichův Hradec, the Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media scheduled an open day featuring free admission to all permanent and current exhibitions. The event includes guided tours of the former Jesuit college, interactive stations with virtual reality and EU quizzes, and family entertainment such as puppet shows and juggling comedy. The museum's recent renovations were supported by European Union funds.
