Czech dairy farmers face low milk prices and hay shortages

Czech livestock breeders report that falling milk prices are squeezing their operations, with some saying they must keep cows longer and are reluctant to milk them.

At the same time, a drought has reduced the availability of hay, making it a scarce commodity and leading to reports of hay being stolen from farms.

These combined pressures are creating financial strain for dairy and cattle producers across the Czech Republic.
