Czech dividend season 2026 sees record payouts from Komerční banka and ČEZ

In the 2026 dividend season on the Prague Stock Exchange, Komerční banka announced a dividend of 95.60 CZK per share, equal to 100 % of its 2025 net profit, and indicated it will target an 80 % payout ratio for 2026. MONETA Money Bank also paid 11.50 CZK per share, representing 90 % of its profit, and expects a similar payout level moving forward.

ČEZ approved a dividend of 42 CZK per share, amounting to about 23 billion CZK and corresponding to 80 % of adjusted 2025 net profit. The payment will begin on 3 August. While ČEZ shares trade near 1 300 CZK, the dividend alone is not driving price gains; the market is focusing on the company’s restructuring plan, which may lead to a partial state buy‑out of its production assets. Conversely, Komerční banka’s share price fell to around 990 CZK after the dividend, hitting its annual low.

Analysts note that the sustainability of these high payouts depends on future earnings growth, as the companies retain limited capital buffers after distributing large portions of profit.
