Czech Embassy clarifies scholarship eligibility for Nigerian students

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nigeria has issued a clarification regarding the Czech Government Scholarship programme for the 2027/2028 academic year. The embassy debunked online claims suggesting that Nigerian students are eligible to apply for the program during that period.

In an official statement, the embassy noted that Nigeria is not among the eligible countries for the scholarship for the specified academic year. Officials urged prospective students to disregard information found on unofficial websites and directed them to seek accurate details from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports or the Dům zahraniční spolupráce.
