Czech engineering advances in education and industrial technology
The engineering and manufacturing sectors in the Czech Republic are highlighting advancements in both education and high-tech industrial applications. At the MESIT secondary school in Uherské Hradiště, students are training in modern mechanical fields, including CNC programming and 3D printing. The school maintains close ties with the MESIT group (part of Omnipol Group) to provide students with practical experience in real-world production environments.
In the field of advanced research, Brno University of Technology (VUT) showcased over twenty exhibits at the International Engineering Fair (MSV). A standout achievement was the BeamShape ElectronForge, a metal 3D printer that uses an electron beam instead of a laser, which received the MSV Gold Medal. Other notable VUT presentations included an AI-driven robotic arm, a humanoid robot named RBit, and experimental technology for future fusion power plants.
