Czech firms push AI‑driven digital workplace platforms amid implementation challenges

An ISG analysis reports that companies are moving from experimental AI tools to full‑scale integration in digital workplaces, seeking measurable gains in productivity, resilience and regulatory compliance. IT leaders prioritize autonomous operation, real‑time observability, employee‑centred design and tighter endpoint security, with platforms that combine predictive analytics, real‑time feedback and automated response. The shift from pilot projects to broader deployment is expected this year, though firms must grapple with "shadow AI" use that raises security and compliance risks.

In the Czech Republic, digitalisation efforts are criticised as merely shifting paperwork rather than reducing administrative burden. The newly introduced unified monthly employer reporting system (JMHZ) still requires employers, HR staff and payroll accountants to collect, verify and correct data, moving the workload from public officials to private firms without delivering genuine process simplification.
