Czech folk band launches fundraiser for Ukrainian frontline vehicles

The Antonín Stehlík Cimbálová muzika, a folk ensemble from the Znojmo region, has launched a fundraising campaign to support Ukrainian defenders. Led by Mayor Jiří Ludvík, the group has performed in Lviv for several years under the ‘Czech Dreams’ festival.

Through the Znesnáze21 portal, Ludvík is collecting 250,000 CZK to purchase and repair two off-road vehicles. These vehicles are intended for the 44th Brigade to transport the wounded and deliver supplies to the combat line near Kostyantynivka in eastern Ukraine. The initiative follows reports that a local anti-drone unit lost seven vehicles in a single month due to Russian drone attacks, leaving them with only one functional vehicle.

The band members plan to coordinate the delivery of the vehicles with their upcoming performance in Lviv in mid-September.
