Czech football clubs Zlín and Opava compete in friendly matches

In recent football preparations, Zlín faced a defeat against Prostějov. Zlín coach Pavel Hoftych noted that while the result was disappointing, the match served as a valuable learning experience regarding player confidence and form. The match featured the debut of midfielder Miloš Kratochvíl. Despite scoring through Daniel Šmig, Zlín was unable to overcome Prostějov after defensive errors.

Meanwhile, Slezský FC Opava drew 1-1 against MFK Ružomberok in a friendly match. Opava took the lead through Lehoczki in the 60th minute, but Kelemen equalized for the Slovak side in the 89th minute. Opava coach Ondřej Smetana expressed frustration over the result and a loss of organization late in the game, though he viewed the match as a useful test against Slovak league competition. The match also provided an opportunity to trial 18-year-old Nigerian defender Joh Asu Precious.
