Czech football disciplinary committee issues multiple bans and fines

The South Bohemian Regional Football Association disciplinary committee has issued a series of significant sanctions following violent incidents during the twelfth round of regional competitions. The penalties include a total of 21 suspended matches and various fines.

In Soběchleby, David Šanda received a ten-match suspension for directing insults and threats toward the head referee. This outburst followed a heavy foul by Maksym Rozhenov, which resulted in a ten-match ban for Rozhenov and left Václav Šanda with torn ankle ligaments. Additionally, Soběchleby coach Václav Havlík was fined 5,000 CZK for insulting the official, and Vadym Zujev received a one-match suspension.

In another incident during a match between Nová Ves and Zdíkov, Jakub Kovář and Martin Vodák were both issued red cards and subsequent suspensions for headbutting incidents. Kovář allegedly struck Vít Neumann, after which Vodák attempted to retaliate against Kovář. Both actions were classified as gross unsportsmanlike conduct involving excessive force.
