Czech football team makes squad changes due to injuries

Czech Republic national football team coach Santi Denia has made two changes to his squad ahead of the upcoming Nations League matches due to injuries. Defender David Zima and midfielder Denis Višinský have both been ruled out.

To replace them, Denia has called up Ondrej Krcfaluš, a defensive player from Union Saint-Gilloise, and Martin Šubert, a winger from Mladá Boleslav. Krcfaluš, who recently moved from Baník Ostrava to the Belgian side, is noted for his versatility as both a center-back and defensive midfielder. Šubert enters the call-up in strong form, currently leading the first league scoring charts.

Additional injury concerns persist within the squad. Slavia Prague players Tomáš Chorý and Tomáš Vlček are facing medical evaluations following recent matches, and the availability of other players remains uncertain. The national team is scheduled to play four matches during the autumn international window, beginning with a fixture against Croatia in Prague.
