Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka met Anna Ponomarjovová, the newly appointed Russian ambassador to the Czech Republic, in Prague. The Czech government’s contribution of roughly 140 million Czech crowns (about US$7 million) to the PURL ammunition‑procurement initiative for Ukraine was also noted, alongside praise for Czech support of Ukraine’s European Union accession efforts.
