Czech-German Future Fund launches 2027 Theme to support bilateral projects

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Czech‑German Declaration of 1997, the Czech‑German Future Fund announced the 2027 Theme. The initiative seeks to stimulate joint cultural, educational and societal projects that reflect on the past, address present challenges and shape future cooperation between the Czech Republic and Germany. Applicants can receive up to 70 % of project costs, higher than the usual 50 % grant, for activities ranging from historical exhibitions to contemporary dialogue programmes. The programme also includes a "Cultural Spring 2027" series running from March to June, encouraging schools and community groups to propose projects that deepen cross‑border understanding.
