Czech government institutions announce open house events

Several Czech government institutions are hosting open house events to increase public transparency and engagement.

The Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic will hold its 10th annual open house on September 28, 2026. The event includes guided tours of the ministry and its former monastery premises, demonstrations by customs officers with canine units, and interactive presentations from Prague Airport and the Financial Administration. Visitors can also learn about electronic auctions, dispute resolution through the Financial Arbiter, and digital tax services.

Similarly, the Moravian-Silesian Regional Authority has scheduled an open house for Monday, September 28, from 9:30 to 13:00. Governor Josef Bělica stated the goal is to show residents how regional decisions affect their daily lives. The program features interactive activities, including demonstrations by emergency services and regional organizations, as well as presentations involving AI and 3D technology.
