Czech hockey: Třinec talent development and new tournament in Uherský Ostroh

Slovak player Michal Lazovský, who joined the club's youth program in eighth grade, recently made his debut for the senior team. Lazovský expressed his gratitude for the club's facilities and his ambition to eventually reach the NHL through the draft.

Meanwhile, in Uherský Ostroh, the local hockey club HOKEJ Uherský Ostroh is launching the inaugural Dr. Jan Krbeček Cup on September 4. The tournament honors the club's first president, who died in a concentration camp in 1945. The event will feature matches against HC Střelci Jindřichův Hradec and the VUT Cavaliers Brno, aiming to combine preseason preparation with historical remembrance.
