Czech ice hockey: Beroun Kelti and Liberec report mixed results

Recent ice hockey matches in the Czech Republic have seen varied results across different leagues. In the 1. Liga, Beroun Kelti's A-team secured a victory against Prachatice before suffering a 3-7 loss to Nový Strašecí. The club's junior teams also saw mixed action: the junior women dominated Heřmanov Městci with a 6-1 win but lost 7-3 to Kladno, while the youth team faced heavy defeats against Suchdol and Plzeň.

In the top-tier Extraliga, Bílí Tygři Liberec staged a comeback against Litvínov. After falling behind 0-3 early in the match, Liberec managed to equalize and eventually secured a victory in overtime. Despite the win, Liberec coach Jiří Kudrna noted the need for better defensive consistency, highlighting issues with penalties and goals conceded during shorthanded play.
