Czech infrastructure: Brtnice bypass and Veselí nad Moravou revitalization
Infrastructure projects are progressing in the Vysočina and South Moravian regions of the Czech Republic. In Veselí nad Moravou, the revitalization of a public space in the Hutník housing estate has been completed. The two-month project included the installation of a new asphalt road and approximately 500 meters of paved sidewalk.
In Brtnice, construction of the new bypass is advancing, with asphalt surfacing nearly complete across the roughly four-kilometer route. Significant work continues on the 40-meter-high bridge over the Brtnička valley, which is expected to be finished by late 2024. A 200-meter noise barrier has also been installed near the Žabárna district. The bypass is currently scheduled to open to drivers in May 2027.
