Czech infrastructure: Pustevny revitalization and hospital parking expansion

Infrastructure and accessibility improvements are underway in several Czech locations. In the Pustevny region, a transformation project aims to organize traffic, parking, and public spaces to improve visitor safety and comfort while preserving the landscape's character. The Zlín Region is contributing 2 million CZK to support the preparation of detailed documentation for the project, which involves cooperation between the Zlín and Moravian-Silesian Regions and the municipalities of Prostřední Bečva and Trojanovice.

In České Budějovice, the local hospital is expanding its parking capacity for patients and visitors. Starting September 1, 2026, the main parking areas (P1 and P2) will offer a total of 413 spaces by reallocating areas previously used by staff. To ensure accessibility, the hospital has also installed a new elevator at a cost of 2.8 million CZK to provide barrier-free access to the upper levels of the parking facility.
