Czech Justice Minister Jeroným Tejc seeks 400,000 CZK fine for executor Zuzana Grosamová

Justice Minister Jeroným Tejc has filed a disciplinary lawsuit against Prague executor Zuzana Grosamová, demanding a fine of 400,000 CZK. The minister alleges that Grosamová failed to apply the 2022 amendment that stops small‑scale executions, did not send creditors the required 500 CZK deposit request, and allowed numerous executions to continue. The ministry says that some cases were deliberately processed with lower amounts (50‑200 CZK) in late 2021 to evade the new rule.

The disciplinary senate is scheduled to consider the case on 12 August, the same day it will hear a separate lawsuit against executor David Vybíral, accused of improperly gaining personal profit exceeding 32 million CZK. Tejc has previously filed two other disciplinary actions, including one against a judge involved in a child‑custody case that ended in a tragic death.

If upheld, the fine would serve as a sanction for alleged misconduct by judicial officials and reinforce compliance with the small‑execution safeguards introduced in January 2022.
