Czech literary updates feature female authors and poets

Recent Czech literary updates highlight diverse female-driven content. The publication Plav has released an issue focused on heterosexual erotic literature written by women for women. Curated by Veronika Korjagina, the collection aims to present a wide spectrum of female desire, ranging from romantic historical fiction to more intense or non-consensual themes, challenging patriarchal literary patterns.

In a separate literary feature, poet and publisher Tereza Riedlbauchová presents a selection of poetry spanning centuries and continents. The collection includes works by Ono no Komači, Marceline Desbordes-Valmorová, Joyce Mansourová, Louise Glück, and Riedlbauchová herself. Riedlbauchová, a scholar and founder of the Literární salon publishing house, provides commentary on these diverse poetic voices.
