Czech medical facilities promote reproductive health and maternity services

The AGEL Family Maternity Hospital in Přerov is hosting an open house event for expectant parents. The program allows visitors to tour delivery rooms, the neonatal department, and family rooms while meeting medical staff. The event includes demonstrations of water birth methods, free 4D ultrasounds, and a newborn resuscitation course to teach parents essential first aid skills.

Separately, the PRONATAL clinic has launched a fertility awareness campaign titled ‘Fertility is not a given.’ From September 29 to October 13, the clinic is offering free fertility screenings, including ovarian reserve and thyroid function tests for women, and spermograms for their partners. The initiative aims to encourage early reproductive health monitoring, noting that fertility can be impacted by various factors regardless of age.
