Czech ministers attend far-right European conference in Prague

Several Czech government ministers and political leaders attended the fifth annual St. Adalbert Conference in Prague on October 23 and 24. The event, organized by the association Patrimonium Sancti Adalberti, focused on themes of Christian heritage, national sovereignty, and traditional family values.

Attendees included Foreign Minister Petr Macinka, Industry and Trade Minister Karel Havlíček, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Aleš Juchelka, and Chamber of Deputies Speaker Tomio Okamura. The conference featured speakers from Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania, including figures identified as representatives of the European radical and far-right.

The organizers proposed a cooperation project involving twelve states representing approximately 140 million people to better promote regional interests against global powers. The association emphasizes the cultural and historical distinctiveness of Central Europe while criticizing Western European multiculturalism and progressive policies.
