Czech Ministers Oto Klempíř and Petr Macinka Form Metal Band Kohabitace

Czech Culture Minister Oto Klempíř and Foreign Minister Petr Macinka, both members of the Motoristé party, announced they are creating a heavy‑metal group called Kohabitace. The pair said the band is already assembled, is selecting a studio, and will record a debut album during the August governmental holidays.

They indicated that the lyrics will address political topics, including references to President Petr Pavel and other public figures, and even mentioned Klempíř’s contentious departure from the long‑standing group J.A.R., which he described as “almost fecal.” The ministers expect live performances and anticipate strong public interest, noting that tickets for a potential concert at the Lucerna would sell out quickly.
