Czech Ministry of Finance appoints first financial literacy ambassadors

The Czech Ministry of Finance has appointed the country’s first financial literacy ambassadors, Marta Gellová and Lukáš Nádvorník, Ph.D. The appointment was made by Finance Minister Alena Schillerová to help the public manage money more effectively, invest safely, and avoid financial fraud.

This initiative follows a European Commission program aimed at building a network of national financial literacy ambassadors across the EU. The ambassadors will work with the Ministry of Finance, schools, professional institutions, and the media to promote financial education. They will also represent the Czech Republic within the European network to share best practices and expertise. The ambassadors will serve in this honorary role until December 31, 2027.
