The Czech Ministry of Justice has revoked the expert certification of molecular biologist Soňa Peková in the fields of genetics and molecular biology. The decision follows a motion by Slovak MP Tomáš Szalay, who questioned Peková's impartiality regarding an expert report she provided to Slovak government official Petr Kotlárl.

Peková's March 2025 analysis of Moderna and Pfizer vaccine batches claimed the presence of excessive DNA levels. The Czech Ministry of Justice determined that Peková violated her duty to remain impartial and noted that the report had not been entered into the official electronic registry. The Ministry stated that such actions under the guise of expert reports can 'represent a dangerous source of manipulation of public fear' and threaten public health and opinion.

Peková has stated she will not contest the decision, noting she sees no rational reason to remain within the current expert system.
